Meet Ashlee Howard

Who Am I?

Hi. My name is Ashlee Howard. My chosen sport is Netball and my chosen career is Personal Fitness. I have been a Personal Trainer for 11 years. I have completed my Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness, a Sport and Recreation and Event Management course as well as many courses along the journey. I initially worked in gyms, then ventured into my own business “Ashlee Howard BodyFit” from my home studio.

Along with being a Personal Trainer, I was an elite athlete, playing netball for the Melbourne Vixens, West Coast Fever and the Australian U-21 Netball team. I still play domestic netball, showing that my Bodyfit program works. I mention this fact because through my netball I have pushed my body to the extreme and it taught me the importance of an active lifestyle on our mind and body.

What is AHB?

Ashlee Howard Bodyfit helps a community of young mums with exercise programs that are exciting and fun without judgement, so that they can in their bodies.

My sessions would also be of great benefit to those mature woman who want to go to that extra level – if you’re not sure just ask my mum. In addition, anyone who is wanting a variety of fun exercises to change up their fitness routine. My programs are adaptable to any fitness level.

But, added to this is the fact I was diagnosed with MS three years ago. This means I have also had to manage panic attacks in the early stages, and I have become very experienced at handling day-to-day anxiety. Because I have also had a baby in January I now have to be more efficient with my time management.

 

All of these aspects have allowed me to reconsider my VALUES. Honesty, integrity, resilience and positivity are all important to me now. This is especially so when dealing with my clients. These values show that I can be relied apon for long term support. You can be assured of accurate & relevant feedback.

I am so passionate about helping people wanting to feel their best physically, emotionally and mentally. I believe moving our body in some way every day is the key to your happiness! I just want to see you move your body EVERY DAY. You will thank me for it!!
